I have a low income!
A lot of people tell me, that they do not have high enough incomes, to follow a financial plan. Or, that steps to personal finance success, are not applicable to them, and only apply to rich people. If we have low incomes, then we may fail to follow the basic principle of success with money – to spend less, than we earn. In such a case, the probability of accumulating credits and falling into a vicious circle increases, in which a large part of our salary goes towards paying them off.
Here are some steps, that we can take, to increase our revenue:
♦ We can develop an extra job outside of your main job or find yourself second part-time job. We may register on freelance service sites, such as Upwork, where we perform services for an hourly fee.
♦ If our salary is low, we might consider whether or not let's change the company, for which we work.
♦ Let's launch own online business from home, which does not require a large initial capital. We could start giving lessons on something, which we are good at.
♦ Enroll in a course to acquire new knowledge and skills, which are currently wanted - for example an English course, Excel, digital marketing or programming, driving courses.
♦ To think about whether we have chosen the right career for us? Maybe it's time to think about career change and to change our field of work. We might think about where we want to be next 5 years, what income we would like to have, and start now to develop the necessary knowledge and skills.
We need to be proactive and take action to increase our revenue. The main ingredient of success is determination and action. Many people want their current situation to change, but there are very few who take real action towards it – this requires desire, discipline and changing thinking and behavior.
